Hi My name is Christopher Jude and I truly welcome you to our site!
I want to introduce myself and my family so that you have a better idea of who I am and what our site consist of!
I am a husband and father that has comes from a very creative background, with artist and writers through our family, but most notably by own mother who was a very very spiritual and creative artist. I was traditionally raised and schooled in the south in the Atlanta Area and considered it extremely fortunate to do so.
In middle school I begin putting together stories and ideas that always went over well with friends and upon graduation from college, I with the help of my "now-wife Teah", sent out my first children's book to some 20 random publishers. Though with no agent or real experience, I received the attention of several publishers and it was a promising start, however things did not work out how I envisioned and I thus began my adult career which would see the rise of home building in the Atlanta then the IT explosion which I rode for 20+ years.
During the long and non-traditional hours of IT life my wife and I were blessed with a wonderful family which I now draw upon for stories, and the need for new traditional material in book stores as opposed to the some of the recent stories. During my time at work I missed out a lot on small special moments with my children and I know how much it bothered me and one lesson I received from my Aunt who had a career as an editor and publishes for one of Wall Streets largest insurance firms, as she sat me down in a very small kitchen over a very hot cup of tea in Manhattan, she told me "Chris...Write about what you know..!" And to this day that is what I do, and enjoy sharing my idea's not only in print with "A Dandelion Girl", but also with our opportunity and abilities to blog for you!
So again, I thank you and am honored that you are visiting our site, I hope you enjoy what you see and I would love for you to visit us on your social media of choice, but likes on our Facebook page are always greatly appreciated and a great way so stay in touch!
Take Care, Chris
